Ironwill Rattery has this lovely black variegated doe for adoption.

She and her siblings were sired by Gremlin out of Spiffy 5/14/09.

She's well socialized, purse trained, harness trained and partially litter trained. She comes to her number, and will be easily trained to her name once her new family gives her one.

Africa is a little on the shy side. She tends to be wary of strangers and is easily overstimulated. She isn;t aggressive, buy sh is prone to assume that anything comming through the cage bars is a treat to be snatched.

She's very licky if you reach through the door and pet her in the cage, but isn't overly fond of being picked up.

If you're an adult with no children under 15 looking for a visualy stimulating pet who's just plain fun to watch but don't want a clingy animal who can't stand to be away from you, Africa and another similarly tempered doe would be a good choice.

Her adoption fee is non negotiable. It's set just high enough to discourage impulse adopters and people who are looking for cheap prey. Her life is worth something to me, and I want to know that her new home can at least afford to feed and care for her.

Although they come from the same address, Ironwill rats and RLC rats are advertised seperately because they are from two seperate organizations.

Ironwill rats are from carefully planned and documented breedings by Ironwill Rattery.

RLC rats are vetted, rehabilitated rescues from various and assorted back grounds who have been cleard for adoption by the CSRA Rodent and Lagomorph Club shelter.
