Duties & Responsibilities

1. Preparing and analyzing financial forecasts
2. Analyzing financial variances
3. Provide financial support to senior management and department heads
4. Perform complex business analyses and serve as resource to key decision makers in the firm
5. Provide hands-on development of custom reports for financial analysis with multiple financial databases utilizing various reporting tools including Microsoft Access, Crystal and other programs as necessary.
6. Provide lease/purchase analysis
7. Generate ad hoc reporting and analysis
8. Strong back end technical skills, SQL queries/report writing to extract data from Elite.

Other Requirements
* Be quantitatively oriented
* Have strong financial modeling skills, and a detailed understanding of financial statements
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Access and Excel is necessary in order to develop and maintain complex financial models
* Hands-on SQL development experience and ability to create and analyze stored procedures.
* The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with firm management and should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Four year college degree in accounting, finance, business administration or similar field is required, CPA preferred
* Prior AMLAW200 firm a strong preference or Fortune 500 experience required
