Chihuahua - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Meena

Meena is about 6 years old and is a retired breeder. She has very unusual coloring but is called a Chocolate and white. Meena weighs 4.2 pounds as of 9/2/09. Meena had very few teeth when she came to us and lost 4 more when we had them cleaned. I dont think she has any top teeth. Having lived in a Kennel her whole life, she is having to learn her housetraining now. She sleeps in a crate at night and has not messed it up. Meena is very loving and a great lap dog. She has not been tested around children or cats. When meena was spayed. microchipped, and got her shots she was tested for heartworms, and much to our disappointment she is heartworm positive. We can't have her treated until she heals from the surgery. We will go ahead and accept all applications on her now, and hope to have her home ready soon. UPDATE!!! Meena has a broken jaw, which came from her tooth removal. We are workin very hard to get her wel so she can begin her heartworm treatment. We are accepting donations to go towards her medical bills. Please specify that the money is for meena. Adoption fee of $175 required.An adoption application must be completed and a home check will be done prior to placement. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped prior to placement.
