He is a very sweet and personable puppy. He is potty trained and will go to the back door if he needs to go out. He is a puppy still, so please don't expect him to never have an accident. He sleeps on my bed curled under my arm, and thinks that if I'm on the couch, he needs to be there too. Very smart- knows to sit and wait for his food. He is great with other dogs and our cat.
He has been known to chew the occassional shoe, but has a basket full of dog toys that he loves most. He is usally very good, but is still learning not to jump up on people. He has a big wire crate that will go with him if you'd like. We put him inside the crate only when we leave the house.
His dad was probably about 90 pounds, so he's going to be a big boy. He is already over 30 pounds. Silver in color- We got him from a breeder that promised to mail his papers, but we never received them. I have contacted her numerous times, to no avail.
Now- I will not let him go to just anyone. I want to make sure that he will be going to the right family/couple. I will ask questions and pick the best famlily. I need to know that whoever ends up with this awesome dog knows how to handle a weim and has the right lifestyle. For example-He is STRICTLY an inside dog- Weims NEED to be with their person/people. Experience with Weims is a plus.
He will not go to the pound- If I can't find the right family, I will just keep him. Please don't think you have to adopt him to save him. I had a wonderful weim that was born with an immune problem and we fought so hard to save him but in the end, we could not. This little guy was my 'replacement'. I think I jumped into a new pup too soon because looking at him still hurts because he looks just like my little boy. But he is being well taken care of- so I'm in no real hurry.
