Not For Adoption:: Richard is a LilacCrowned Amazon who has a special medical bowel condition.Since his rescue in 2001 he has taken compounded medications(2) up to three times aday at the cost of $90/month initially,but thanks to AikenCompoundingPharmacy and Jay Watts,Pharmacist,we now receive the meds for $68.50 and once a year he donates them! Richard is full flighted and 'in charge' of the outdoor birdroom with 24 other inhabitants.Having flying privileges allows him to properly exercise and keep him 'pooping'.He has constipation problems occasionally and has to be manually 'pooped' to empty his intestines or he would become fatally infected. Richard can talk,whistle,and mimic all kinds of different birds and people.He can sound just like Phyllis-calling my name!!!!! YOU CAN HELP RICHARD-PLEASE!!!! DONATE RIGHT NOW-THANK YOU!!!
